Package of Door County Love Dark Chocolate Cherry Granola

Kick Ash Products, located in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin, is issuing a recall for Door County Love Dark Chocolate Cherry Granola, Lot #061241, due to the potential presence of undeclared almonds.

 Individuals with an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds may experience a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The Door County Love Dark Chocolate Cherry was distributed in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin, and may have been purchased by consumers either at their retail store in Ellison Bay or through online orders at kickashproducts.com, between February 26, 2024, and March 11, 2024.

The Dark Chocolate Cherry Granola is packaged in brown plastic bags that feature a clear viewing window and a red label. The impacted product will display Lot # 061241 and a Best By date of 08/31/24. Both the Lot number and the Best By date are imprinted at the top of the bag.

To date, no illnesses have been reported.

Kick Ash inistiated the recall after it was discovered that the Dark Chocolate Cherry Granola containing almonds was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of almonds. Further investigation suggests that the issue stemmed from a temporary disruption in the company's manufacturing procedures.

Consumers who have purchased Kick Ash Door County Love Dark Chocolate Cherry Granola with a Lot # 061241 and Best by Date of 08/31/24 are urged to return it to Kick Ash Products for a full refund.
