Berkley Jensen Gazebo Pavilion – model A102008010

The roof panels of the gazebo may come loose during strong winds, which could lead to injuries. It is recommended to have the product repaired. This recall was initiated on August 15, 2024, and approximately 32,500 units are affected.

The recall pertains to Berkley Jensen cedar hard-topped gazebos with specific model numbers A102008010, A102008100, A102011920, and A102011902, measuring approximately 10 feet by 12 feet or 12 feet by 14 feet. These gazebos were sold in copper color, resembling brown or black, with or without netting panels and tie-back bands. Only the mentioned models sold within specified dates are subject to this recall.

To address this issue, consumers are advised to cease using the gazebos, maintain a safe distance, and request a complimentary repair kit, including shipping, to secure the roof panels.

It has been reported that BJ’s Wholesale Club has received 137 incidents of roof panels detaching from the gazebos, resulting in one minor injury.

The affected products were sold at BJ’s Wholesale Club stores nationwide and online from October 20, 2020, to May 30, 2022, priced between $1,300 and $1,800.

The gazebos were manufactured by Lypometal Sdn. Bhd., based in Malaysia (Sunjoy Group), and imported by BJ’s Wholesale Club of Marlborough, Massachusetts.
