The Hải Yến Ocean Swallow Frozen Shredded Young Coconut is being recalled from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination. The product is in 400g bags with the UPC = 8 115170 091856 Lot No. = F2-23 11358 and Best Before = 2025.OC.01
The product was distributed in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba
This recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency test results and there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products and verifying that industry is removing recalled products from the marketplace.
