Hazard:
The swings are dangerous because they can cause babies to suffocate. They are not safe for infant sleep because they tilt more than 10 degrees, which breaks the CPSC's Infant Sleep Products Regulation and the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. The swing also does not have the required warnings about sleep on the swing standard.

Description:
This is a recall notice for Jool Baby's Nova Baby infant swings, which were manufactured between June 2022 and September 2023. The swings are gray and have a round aluminum base with music buttons, a metal seat frame, a cloth seat with restraints and a headrest, and a canopy with hanging toys (a yellow moon, a blue cloud, and a pink star). The swings can use AAA batteries or an AC adaptor as power sources and come with an electronic remote control. The brand name "Jool Baby" is on the base and the model name "NOVA" is on the seat label. The manufacturing date code in the format of month, day, year is on the warning label sewn on the back of the seat. The swings measure approximately 28 inches long, 19 inches wide and 24 inches high.
Remedy:
If you have the recalled swings, stop using them for sleep right away. Contact Jool Baby to get a free repair kit with free shipping. Go to www.JoolBaby.com/recall and upload a picture of the warning label. Jool Baby will send you a new seat with better warnings, new plush toys and a new remote control.
