King Kullen Broccoli Cutlets with Bread Crumbs and Parmesan
Gracie’s Kitchens, based in New Haven, Connecticut, is issuing a recall for its 20-ounce packages of "King Kullen Broccoli Cutlets with Bread Crumbs and Parmesan" due to the potential presence of undeclared sesame and wheat. Individuals with allergies to sesame and wheat are at risk of experiencing severe or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products.
The affected "Broccoli Cutlets" were exclusively distributed to King Kullen Grocery Stores in Long Island, New York, with specific locations including Manhasset, Center Moriches, Bay Shore, Bridgehampton, Shirley, Garden City Park, Eastport, and St. James.
The product is packaged in a 20-ounce oven-safe tin container with a clear dome lid, bearing a UPC Code of “0 8531610145 0”, and featuring Sell By dates between 4/14/24 and 4/21/24 on the top panel.
No illnesses related to this issue have been reported thus far.
The recall was prompted by the discovery that the ingredient panel of the product failed to disclose the presence of sesame and wheat.
Consumers who have purchased the 20-ounce packages of "King Kullen Broccoli Cutlets with Bread Crumbs and Parmesan" are advised to return them to the store of purchase to receive a full refund.
