The recall involves Beaumont Plus ST City Bike Step-Thru frame bicycles equipped with disc brakes. These bikes were available in bluebell (blue), eggshell (white), or mint (green) colors. The brand name "Retrospec" is visibly printed on the frame, and the company's distinctive "R" logo can be found on the front fork. Additionally, a silver label located near the pedals displays the information "Restrospec, Made in Tianjin, China and batch: 12-15-2023".

For resolution, consumers are advised to discontinue the use of the affected bicycles and bring them to the authorized dealer where they were purchased or visit https://retrospec.com/pages/dealer-locator/ to have a new front fork installed at no cost.

No incidents or injuries related to this product have been reported.

These bicycles were retailed at various bicycle stores across the country between February 2024 and March 2024, typically priced around $400.

The importer of these bicycles is Xander Bicycle Corp., known as Retrospec, located in Perris, California. The manufacturing of these bicycles took place in China.

The recall is designated with the number 24-266.
