Sant and Abel Children's Henley Two-Piece Pajama Sets
The Sant and Abel Children’s Two-Piece Pajama Sets have been recalled due to a safety hazard. Specifically, these pajamas do not meet the required flammability standards for children’s sleepwear. This failure to comply with safety regulations poses a risk of burn injuries to children wearing them.
As a remedy, consumers are advised to return the product for a refund. The recall was issued on April 24, 2024, and approximately 935 units are affected by this recall.
The recall involves two styles of Sant and Abel children’s 100% cotton long pajama sets available in sizes 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10. The pajamas have a neck label that specifies "Sant and Abel," the size, and fabric composition. The side seam label includes fabric content, care instructions, and "MADE IN CHINA" and "MADE IN INDIA" details. The long Henley and pant sets feature nine prints, such as Kids Sky Blue Stripe, Peony Stripe, Red Stripe, and Navy Stripe PJ Sets, as well as Kids Daisy, Horse, Candy Cane, Christmas, and Wreath PJ Sets. The two-piece shirt and pant sets are available in thirteen prints, including Kids Leaf Pink, Green, and Blue PJ Sets, Kids Gingham Pink, Blue, and Green PJ Set, Kids Palm Tree Pink, Blue, and Green PJ Sets, Kids Houndstooth PJ Set, Boys & Girls White Cambric PJ Sets, and the Girls Billie Neon PJ Set.
Consumers are advised to remove the recalled pajamas from children, discontinue their use, and contact Sant and Abel for a complete refund. The garments should be destroyed by cutting them in half and disposed of following local and state recycling regulations. To receive a refund, consumers need to send a photo of the destroyed garment to returns@santandabel.com.
Sant and Abel are reaching out directly to all known purchasers.
No incidents or injuries have been reported.
The pajamas were sold online at santandabel.com, neimanmarcus.com, maisonette.com, SAKS.com, and Flip.com between January 2021 and February 2024 for approximately $59.
Sant and Abel, based in Los Angeles, California, imported the pajamas from China and India.
