The brake disc may rub against the brake line, damaging it and leading to brake failure. This can create a risk of injury.

Description:
The recall affects every 2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst 600 snowmobile. These snowmobiles come in different colors and have the model names “ZR,” “Riot” or “Mountain” on the engine cowling.
Remedy:
The recalled snowmobiles pose a safety risk and consumers should stop using them immediately. They can contact Textron Specialized for a free inspection and repair at a dealer, or request a free repair kit with shipping included. The kit contains a cable tie, installation instructions, and a turn card for self-repair. Textron Specialized Vehicles will also reach out to all buyers directly.
Incidents/Injuries:
There have been three incidents of damaged brake lines reported to the company. No one was injured in these incidents.
Sold At:
Authorized Arctic Cat dealers nationwide from November 2022 through January 2024 for between $13,800 and $16,100.
