Recalled Daisy and Donald Duck Figures

The Fisher-Price Little People Mickey and Friends Figures have been recalled due to a hazard where the heads of the Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures can detach, presenting a choking risk for young children. As a solution, consumers are advised to return the product for a refund. The recall was issued on March 21, 2024, affecting approximately 204,000 units in the United States. Furthermore, an estimated 11,000 units were sold in Canada, making the total number of affected products around 215,000.

The Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures made of plastic are included in the Fisher-Price Little People Mickey and Friends figure pack under models HPJ88 and HTW75. These figures stand around 3 inches tall and have arms stretched outwards. Donald Duck is recognizable for his blue shirt with thin yellow stripes, a blue and black hat, and a red bow tie. Daisy Duck is characterized by a light purple shirt, a turquoise necklace and bracelet, pink shoes, and a pink hair bow. To identify the figures, refer to the model number located on the bottom of the Goofy figure.

Consumers are advised to cease the use of the Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures promptly, remove them from access by children, and proceed to get in touch with Fisher-Price. Upon contacting Fisher-Price, consumers will be provided with a pre-paid return label to send back the two figures. Additionally, consumers will be eligible to receive a refund of $10 upon returning the recalled items. It is important to note that this recall specifically pertains to the Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures that are included in the figure pack.

Fisher-Price has received three concerning reports regarding the heads of the Donald Duck or Daisy Duck figures detaching. These incidents have included a particularly distressing report where a detached head was found inside the mouth of a young child. Despite these alarming occurrences, there have been no injuries reported as a result of this issue.
