Summary
Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. (IMT) is recalling certain Hydraulic Loaders, model 42684 and part number 6390121. If the cracks in the weld of the stabilizer beam are not addressed, they could progress and eventually cause the stabilizer beam to break. If the stabilizer beam breaks when the hydraulic loader is being operated, it may lead the vehicle to tip while lifting a load or to disengage the load, increasing the risk of property damage or injury.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the stabilizer beams, free of charge. Vehicle manufacturers are expected to be notified September 2, 2022. Owners may contact IMT customer service at 1-877-751-4222. IMT's number for this recall is TB2022001-IMY dist.
