Salm Partners Johnsonville Polish Kielbasa Turkey Sausage.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced that Salm Partners, LLC, a Denmark, Wis., establishment, is recalling about 35,430 pounds of Johnsonville turkey kielbasa sausage. The product may have foreign materials in it, such as rubber pieces.
The company made the turkey kielbasa sausages on October 30 and 31, 2023. The following products are subject to recall:
- 12-oz. vacuum-packed packages containing a single piece of "Johnsonville POLISH KIELBASA TURKEY" sausage and best by dates "05/17/24" and "05/18/24" printed on the side of the packaging.
The recall affects products with the establishment number "P-32009" on the side of the package. These products were distributed to retailers across the country.
Consumers reported finding rubber pieces in the ready-to-eat turkey kielbasa products. The firm discovered the problem after receiving these complaints.
No one has reported any negative effects or harm from eating these products. If you think you have been hurt by them, you should see a doctor.
The products in question may still be stored in some consumers' fridges. The consumers who bought these products should not eat them. They should either discard them or take them back to where they bought them.
