Due to the possible presence of wheat, an allergen that is not declared on the label, Stonewall Kitchen of York, Maine is recalling a small batch of their Gluten Free Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut Mix.
This product from the lots listed below may cause a serious allergic reaction in people who are allergic or severely sensitive to wheat (a source of gluten). Do not consume this product if you have this condition.
This product was only available in small amounts across the country through Stonewall Kitchen’s own stores, website, and some wholesale customers like niche grocery stores, department stores, or gourmet food shops.

A consumer report of a reaction prompted the company to initiate the recall. The company found out that a packaging process error caused some product with wheat to be distributed in packages that did not disclose wheat as an ingredient. The company is voluntarily recalling the product in collaboration with the US Food and Drug Administration.
Consumers who are allergic or sensitive to wheat or gluten should stop using any of the affected product and return it to the store where they bought it for a full refund. Consumers who bought the product from stonewallkitchen.com should send it back to Stonewall Kitchen directly for a full refund.
Consumers who have an allergy to or a severe sensitivity to wheat or gluten run the risk of a serious or life threatening allergic rection if they consume the affected product from these two lots. One illness has been reported to date. There is no danger or risk of consuming the affected products from the two lots by consumers who do not have an allergy to or sensitivity to wheat or gluten, and those consumers may continue to safely enjoy the product, or they may return for a full refund it if they so wish.
